Back again!

Sorry, for the super, super long break. I was just in the middle of moving, so that was the reason for the long break.
Let me tell you, moving is not fun. You have to pack boxes, then unpack them. It's really not as easy as you might think.
Something else that is in the air right now are the winter holidays!

It was just released today on itunes. I really love the song.(: The video is pretty good as well. It's a vintage style. I would recommend buying it.

Also, free on itunes this week is The Veronicas "Untouched." I LOVE them. They're pretty awesome. I would download that if I were you.

Well, I'm going to try getting back on track soon and hopefully make it to the 100th post!

Hey waz up?

OH MY GOSH!!! Today in my brother's room we found the biggest SPIDER I think I have ever seen; it was huge!!! It was a total tarantula (don't mind my spelling)!!! Then my dad's like "Don't kill it!!!"(crazy!!!) And then he lets it go outside!!! I can't believe it!!! Darn, I should have got a pictures of it!!!SEE YA.

U know I already have a phobia of spiders!!!

I loved this book. It gave me a lot of knowledge on what is in Fast Food and how bad it is.... well actually I already knew how bad it was for you, but it really put a bigger picture in my mind of how bad it was. It did get a bit gory at moments, but nothing too bad. A MUST READ!!! If this can't get people to stop eating Fast Food nothing can.

Something fun to do to your journal.

I added little pieces of ribbon to mine, and now it looks uber cute. :] Here's pictures!

Here's what you need.

1. Spiral Bound Journal

2. Ribbon

3. Scissors

Now, here's how you do it.

1. Get Some Ribbon

2. Cut that ribbon into pieces about 3 inches long. (Or however long you want it to be!)

3. Tie the ribbon around the spiral things.

4. You're done!

Now you have a super cute journal. Haha.

Wicked.

I saw that play the other night. It was amazing! If you have the chance to see it, you should. It plays in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago. Now, if you can't see the musical, buy the soundtrack as it is amazing. My favorite songs from the soundtrack are "Popular" and "Defying Gravity." In case you don't know what it's about, it's the prequel to the Wizard of Oz. They're making Wicked into a movie too! YAY! Haha. Well I g2g! Byee!

If you have an iPhone or an iTouch, here are some cool apps that you might consider putting on your it. (Click on the name of each to app to download of off iTunes).

Free
Pandora Radio.
You might remeber in a previous post, me putting a link up to it. It's awesome and they have it as an app for the iphone/touch. It only works with the touch if you have an internet connection, but with the iphone, it works anywhere that you recieve a cell phone signal. It's like your own personal radio. You put your favorite artist in and it "creates" a radio station just for you.

Shazam.
This app only works with the iphone, but it is still awesome. :] If you're listening to a song on the radio or in a store and can't figure it out what it is, all you do is hold up your phone and it will tell you what it is.

Flashlight.
Basically what the title says it is. It has a bunch of different colors and other stuff, like a strobe setting. :] Great for if the power goes out.

The City of Ember.

I saw "City Of Ember" with Saorise Ronan, Bill Murray, and Harry Treadaway the other night. It was actually really well done. The book is one of my favorite books, so I wasn't expecting much out of the movie. A couple of things were changed obviously, but it was still really fun to watch. I will give 5/5 stars. The actors that were in it were all such good actors. Saorise Ronan was awesome. :] If you get the chance you should definately see the movie. You should read the book as well. I'll give the book 5/5 stars too. :] Here's a synopsis for the movie.

"For generations, the people of the City of Ember have flourished in an amazing world of glittering lights. But Ember's once powerful generator is failing ... and the great lamps that illuminate the city are starting to flicker. Now, two teenagers in a race against time, must search Ember for clues that will unlock the ancient mystery of the city's existence, and help the citizens escape before the lights go out forever."

Eagle Eye.

A review.

I saw the movie and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The problem with it though is that I thought that it was very predictable. If you seen THIS (spoiler) movie, you will be kind of bored at the end. You might just be bored for idkkk. Lol. Anyway, I'll give it 4/5 stars. I would recommend seeing it. :] I'm to lazy to do a synopsis, so here's what someone else wrote lol.

"Jerry and Rachel are two strangers thrown together by a mysterious phone call from a woman they have never met. Threatening their lives and family, she pushes Jerry and Rachel into a series of increasingly dangerous situations, using the technology of everyday life to track and control their every move."

Crayons.

We have never done a post on them...here are some pretty awesome pictures that we found! :]



Now, here's a fun crayon craft project.
What You Need:
Broken crayons
An old muffin tin
A knife

1. Gather up all of your broken crayons, and cut them into small pieces.
2. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.
3. Fill the muffin tin with an inch-thick layer of crayon pieces.
4. Bake 15-20 minutes, or until the wax is melted.
5. Allow the tin to cool; then pop out the crayons, and they're ready for use.

Tips:
If you don't have a muffin tin to devote to crayon making, you can line your regular muffin tin
with foil cups.
Candy and soap making molds can also be used to create fun, shaped crayons.
Recycled crayons make a great no-cost gift or party favor.

Headphones.

If you're looking for a good pair of headphones, this is the right post for you! And if you're not, just keep these brands in mind. I have used soo many headphones, so I kind of call myself an expert on that topic. I'm going to do the pros and cons on each pair that I post. They are all good headphones, but one pair might be better for you. (You can click on each picture to go to a link where you can buy them.)

These go over your head...(so old-fashioned, right???)
Anyways, I use these ones quite a bit. I really like them because they don't fall off that easily. They're perfect for working out or unloading the dishes. The sound quality is about a 7/10. I like these headphones a lot.


Able Planet True Fidelity Noise-Canceling Headphones

These headphones are truly noise canceling. They feel good on your head too haha. They sound is awesome. There are a couple of cons though. One, they're very expensive. Two, they're very big and bulky. But hey, if you want to deal with the last two problems, go for it!


Skullcandy Buds Ink'd Earbuds





I really like these ones too. The sound quality is really good. They're small and easily portable. There are cons though. They are really sound canceling though. You have to really watch your volume. Idk, maybe it's a good thing for you to shut the outside world out though haha. They also don't last that long, maybe a month or so.






JVC Marshmallow Headphones

I don't really like these for a number of reasons, but my mom seems to like them. They form fit inside your ears. (My ears are super small so they don't fit haha.) They sound isn't that good in my opinion. That's about it though.

Another Cinderella Story.

With Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley. It is super cute. :) The acting is actually pretty good. There are some things that you would not be able to believe, like the costume party, but other than that there really is nothing bad about it. :) I'll give it 4/5 stars.

Here is a synopis, it was not written by me. Someone on imdb wrote it haha.

A guy (Seeley) who danced with what could be the girl (Gomez) of his dreams at a costume ball only has one hint at her identity: the Zune she left behind as she rushed home in order to make her curfew. And with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in front of him, he sets out to find his masked beauty.

Also the soundtrack is really good as well!

Craft projecttttttt.

Today's post will be on a craft project that you can do. :]
It's a candle holder or pencil holder or whatever type of holder you want it to be.

Items Needed:
A jar of some sort. (Empty baby food jar or canning jar will work. Make sure that it's clean!)
A candle.
Different colored pieces of tissue paper.
Glue. (No glue sticks!)
Newspaper.

Steps.
1. Spread out the newspaper wherever you will be working so that you won't make a mess.
2. Rip the pieces of tissue paper into small little squares.
3. Cover your jar with glue.
4. Add your pieces of tissue paper onto the jar. (Overlapping pieces is okay!)
5. Cover you tissue paper with glue.
6. Let it dry.
7. You're done!

Optional:
You might want to use puffy paint or something on it once you're done.

I read this book and very much enjoyed it. :) I'm don't really like writing reviews, so I'm just going to copy and paste the description that's on every other website haha. Take my word for it though, it's GOOD!

Audrey Cutler is a normal Southern California girl. She has an obese cat, an awesome best friend, and two hippie-ish parents who love her. She's funny, charming, and she likes her music loud. Then she dumps Evan - her self-involved musician boyfriend - and he writes Audrey, Wait!, a breakup song about her that he records with his band, The Do Gooders. All Audrey wants is to have fun, go to concerts, hang out with her friends, and maybe score a date with James, her cute co-worker at the Scooper Dooper. But the paparazzi won't leave her alone, and the tabloids are trying to make her into some kind of rock goddess! She can't go to her favorite record store without being mobbed by fans and the Internet is documenting her every move.

Demi Lovato's new album,

is amazing. I'm loving it, and so is everyone else! Did all of you hear the planet premiere on Radio Disney, or listen to the songs on youtube? It's good. What's your favorite song? Mine would be "On the Line" or "Two Worlds Collide." The lyrics to "Two Worlds Collide" are really sweet. Anyways, make sure to go and buy it! Ya, we just noticed today that on the Britney Spears music video, it really isn't Britney Spears singing. Go watch it.... We're quite embaressed haha.

Science expirements.

You have most likely done both of these expirements before, but they're always fun to do again lol. Here's the first one. (I took parts of it from HERE, because I'm to lazy to type it all out myself haha.)



Materials:
Balloons
Small funnel or a small piece of paper rolled up in a funnel shape
Baking soda
Vinegar
Ice Cubes
A big liter jug that used to have sodaa or something in it. Make sure that it's all clean!
Saucepan
Water
Red Cabbage (It's purple colored.)

Directions:
Take a couple of leaves off of the cabbage and put them into the saucepan along with 2 cups of water. Turn on the burner, and leave it on until the water boils.
While the cabbage water is boiling, use the funnel to add 2 tablespoons of baking soda to each balloon.
Fill the bottle with 1/3 cup of vinegar
By now, the water should be boiling. Once it's boiling, turn the burner off and add some ice cubes to help cool off the water. Let it cool for about 30 seconds.
Then put 1/2 cup of the cabbage water and put it into the bottle. Make sure that none if the leaves get into the bottle!
Make sure to watch all of the color changes!
Without dropping in the baking soda, fit the balloon over the bottle opening
Hold up the balloon and let the baking soda fall into the vinegar
Watch as the baking soda mixes with the vinegar to make carbon dioxide gas and blow up the balloon
What's Going On?
The vinegar mixes with the baking soda to create a chemical reaction that produces carbon dioxide gas. The gas then blows up the balloon.

You can create different stations too. So, you could type in that you like Jonas Brothers and it would come up with music like theirs, or you could type in Carrie Underwood and see what comes up. I LOVE it! We ALL love it. Haha.
